Why do I have to enter my shipping address?
- For each purchased subscription, you will receive one Listening Path Backpack/toolkit full of surprises for your classroom. This will be mailed to the address provided. All other program materials – videos, worksheets, task cards, etc., are available on the online platform.
What is a subscription?
- One subscription is a license for one teacher to access all course material for up to 30 students in a class for a period of one year. First-time subscribers also receive a Listening Path Backpack/toolkit containing over a dozen goodies to make listening ever present in your classroom.
What is the cost of one subscription?
- The cost for an annual subscription is $935, a mere $31 per student (for a class of 30) to forever change a child’s life by giving them the gift of Listening to Understand (LTU).
How many subscriptions can I purchase?
- You can buy up to 5 subscriptions online. For larger quantities, please email us at [email protected].
I am an educator in an Intermediate Unit providing instructional services to dozens of schools in several school districts throughout the county. Classes sometimes last one marking period rather than the entire school year. Do I need to purchase a subscription for every semester in every school I teach?
- We’ve tried to make the Listening Path Program purchase experience as easy as the program itself. We are happy to customize pricing for educators and organizations providing instructional services to schools. Can I use Funding to purchase The Listening Path?
- Yes, it is possible to use funding to purchase The Listening Path! The most common type of funding is Title funding. Title funds are federal resources intended to enhance, rather than substitute, existing state education funding. You may download our for information and rationale to submit for title funding. Please contact your school’s Finance Department for guidance.
Program Users
How does the program user access the course?
- The purchaser of the Listening Path Program will receive an email with instructions on how to create an account and enroll in the course.
How is the program structured?
- The program consists of a series of animated video lessons with all the supporting materials for the teacher, students and parents/caregivers. Each lesson requires approximately 10 minutes of prep time and 20-30 minutes of lesson time. The lessons can be done weekly or spaced out over the course of an academic year. We provide a pacing guide that can be easily adapted to the needs of your schedule, classroom and/or school.
- All lessons and materials can be viewed at any time. You do not need to “complete” lesson 1 to see the materials in lesson 2.
Do we need to take a course to implement the program?
- There is no additional training needed for teachers to successfully implement the program. Teachers do not have to teach the lesson in a direct way. Materials are provided to support teachers in using the Listening Tools daily in their classrooms. Additionally, teachers may reach out to us on our Listening Path Community or at [email protected].
